Lymphoedema is a condition where the lymphatic system fails to drain excess fluid from tissues, causing swelling and discomfort. It can be caused by damage to the lymphatic system or abnormal development. There is no cure, but it can be managed with treatments like compression therapy and exercise.

Download our booklet which was created alongside North East Cancer Research and Treatment group (NECRET). This was designed for Cancer patients who were unable to get to their normal physiotherapy sessions and exercise classes which is so important in their battle with the disease during Covid. However, we have seen a benefit from a much wider community such as the elderly, those with mobility issues, people recovering from injury or surgery or just those who would like to introduce some strength training into their lifestyle.
